The patient has been neutered. The owner recognized labored breathing and sweating from the paw pads when he came home this evening. The patient’s energy decreased and lost appetite afterward. When they visited our clinic, the patient still had labored breathing with a temperature of 39.8°C. Blood tests showed CPR 9.1mg/dL, WBC 31170/uL, Ht 43.8%, GPT 91U/L. We've excluded IMHA by joint aspiration. The patient vomited gastric acid 3 times while at the clinic. Ultrasound screening revealed the stagnation of gastric and duodenal contents consumed that morning. According to the owner, the room temperature hadn't been changed from 27°C.
