I have a client who has a 2 year old lynx point Siamese, he has been battling microsporum canis since he was three months old. He has done Lyme dips, intraconazole, antifungal creams, restore shampoo and wipes. He has also properly sanitized his living situations, while his cat stayed at the clinic receiving medicine and medicated baths. But it will only clear for about a month or so then return. What could cause this and what can be done to prevent it from returning? My doctor is running out of ideas on how to help clear and prevent this bad of a case. So I've been doing research and all I can find is what has already been done. We've done two skin cultures and both came back with an adundant growth of microsporum canis. We are so lost.
