Maintain Proper Storage Conditions. Keep moisture in stored grain below 12-13 percent to stop the development of aflatoxin. Also keep insect activity to a minimum. What is the characteristics antemortem feature of Johne's Diseases.
Paratuberculosis (Johne's Diseases) in cattle is characterized by weight loss and diarrhea in the late phases of infection, but infected animals can appear healthy for months to years. In cattle, diarrhea may be constant or intermittent; in sheep, goats, and other ruminants, diarrhea may not be seen. It typically does not contain blood, mucus, or epithelial debris and is passed without tenesmus. Throughout weeks or months, the diarrhea becomes more severe, further weight loss occurs, coat color may fade, and ventral and submandibular edema may develop due to a protein-losing enteropathy. This leads to low concentrations of total protein and albumin in plasma, although gamma globulin levels are normal. Once a male dog case presented with lethargy and pain. Enlarged mesenteric lymph nodes were found on abdominal ultrasound examination. Cytological examination of lymph node aspirates was consistent with granulomatous inflammation, which was culture-confirmed as Mycobacterium avium subspecies paratuberculosis (MAP). Sub clinical case and early detection by PCR test.

Proliferative Thrombovascular Necrosis of the Pinnae
Lesions, which consist of scaly, thickened, hyperpigmented skin surrounding a necrotic ulcer, begin at the apex of the ear and spread along the concave surface. Eventually, necrosis may deform the margin of the pinna. Pentoxifylline (15–20 mg/kg, bid-tid) and/or the combination of tetracycline (250 mg tid for dogs <10 kg; 500 mg tid for dogs >10 kg) or doxycycline (5 mg/kg bid) and niacinamine (250 mg tid for dogs <10 kg; 500 mg tid for dogs >10 kg) have been anecdotally reported to be efficacious in some cases. Topical glucocorticoids are also an option but must be used carefully because of their atrophogenic effects.
